I am so grateful that a Judge declared that  Dennis' current family does not take the priority to Dennis' previous family. He has 5 children with 3 different women and  he believed that supporting only two of them emotionally and financially was good enough. I am glad that he was proven wrong.

My kids are wonderful people. They are my greatest joy. I've learned more from them than I could ever possibly teach them. My oldest child turned 17 this week. Every time my children have a birthday - I think about how lucky I am to be their mom. My thoughts always turn to Dennis and think how sad it is that he's missed so much. I can't imagine not knowing where my children were for one second. How has he slept at night for the past 13 years not knowing how they are? All the milestones he misses. His oldest daughter got married last month. He did not walk her down the isle.

I am sorry that Dennis felt that he should not be involved in their lives. It is truly his loss. I often wonder if he has prepared his answers for when my children ask him the very important questions. I know they will be asking them soon.
